DID YOU SEE OUR AMBASSADORS?
Did you spy our Special Olympics National Games 2014 ambassadors, Carrie Bickmore and James Tomkins, side-by-side with some of our amazing athlete’s in last month’s Herald Sun feature article?
We were thrilled to see the major newspaper celebrating our ambassadors and athletes and shining a light on the importance of the Games’ volunteer and fundraising drives. Thanks News Limited!
A big thank you to Olympian and rowing legend, James Tomkins, The Project host, Carrie Bickmore and our Special Olympics Victoria athletes Sarah Chaplin (tenpin bowling), Tim Chaplin (athletics) and Mark Hutton (basketball) who came together for a colourful photo shoot to accompany the feature.
We’re very excited to announce National Games ambassador, Carrie Bickmore, will be our official MC for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
If you are in Melbourne on 19 October 2014 head down to Federation Square to see the Torch Run and hopefully you can also join us at the National Games Opening Ceremony the next day.
