FACES BEHIND THE GAMES
Sarah Ogilvie Technical Delegate for Sailing
We’re pleased to announce Olympian Sarah Ogilvie has joined the National Games team as a technical delegate for the SONG2014 sailing competition.
Sarah is the Sailability Coordinator at Yachting Victoria, has represented Australia twice at the Olympic Games and has been recognised as the Australian and Victorian Sailor of the Year and Australian Junior Athlete of the Year.
From her time as Australian Sailing Team Captain (2007-08) to her recent ambition to run a marathon, Sarah is passionate about encouraging those around her to push themselves and compete with pride.
“I can’t wait to soak up the joy and happiness of the Special Olympics National Games, and look forward to welcoming Australian athletes to Melbourne.”
