GAMES RECEIVE SCHOOLS SUPPORT
Victorian schools are banding together to help raise awareness and funds for the upcoming National Games.
Caulfield Grammar School students and staff recently opened their doors for Special Olympics delegates to use their swimming, athletics, tennis and basketball facilities. Students also hosted a fundraising barbeque to raise money for athletes’ ground costs.
St Helena’s have also joined in supporting the Games with the provision of student volunteers, along with participation in exhibition sports with a local Special Development School and ongoing fundraising activity.
Schools interested in getting involved with education and fundraising initiatives are encouraged to contact the National Games office on (03) 9510 0640.

We’re very excited to announce National Games ambassador, Carrie Bickmore, will be our official MC for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
If you are in Melbourne on 19 October 2014 head down to Federation Square to see the Torch Run and hopefully you can also join us at the National Games Opening Ceremony the next day.
